A new, soft and refined, visual of pop music songwriting, dissembling complex guitar textures into italian songs of uncommon beauty.
Cods are an Italian band from Milan and Turin. They were born in the begining of 1999. They achieved Rockerillaís Brico-Sound Prize for best demo-tape of the year, and moreover Blow-up recommended them as best autoproduction of 1999. (Rockerilla and Blow-up are two important Italian magazines about indipendent music). In April 2001 they released their first CD with Beware! Records.
They released the soundtrack for the documentary "Backstage di Forza Cani" by Federico Tinelli, which was screened in November 2001 at the triennial of Milan - CWT festival (Cinema Web Television Videogame).
Their second cd "Sperochettùstia" has been released in 2003 by Mexicat Records.
